ARAFEST 2015

Arafest, a new music festival to Hull and the East Riding took place at Leven Airfield on Saturday June 20th.

The people behind the festival, Mike and Jo Aramayo and Craig Rutter, wanted to organise a small family orientated festival at which some of the finest local bands would play, while at the same time raising money for three charities; FRCA being one of those charities.

All Mod Cons, The Young Influential Factor, The Shine and FRCA's Imogen Hart and United Two, were among the artists that provided 12 hours of brilliant music to around 500 invited guests.

Almost £2600 was raised for FRCA and there has to be a special mention to Simon Pierce and Barclay's who made a £1000 donation towards this total. As well as thanking all those involved in making this happen and letting FRCA be part of a cracking day, special thanks must go Shauna, Jack. Jessica, Lauren, Jermaine, Jess, Kay and Adam for being hard working volunteers and to Mike, Jo, Craig and all those at Arafest; this funding will make a huge difference!!

Lets do it again in 2016!!
