Another Cracking year for FRCA

2013 will go down in FRCA history as a year that saw us; regain the Youth Division of Rock Challenge crown with the dedication and patience of Jimmy and Anne-Marie; develop the music provision we offer, in particular the many stages we managed at Tribfest, The Freedom Festival, The Trinity Festival and Humber Street SESH on which some fantastic local young talent performed; witness lots of new faces beginning to turn up and get involved in the drama and dance sessions; welcome older YP in becoming volunteers and mentors and also a year we could welcome some very dedicated new volunteers.

In 2013 FRCA also staged the 5th annual Stars in Your Eyes competition, with Molly Brown winning as Paloma Faith,

And who can forget the appearance of several people doing the GARRY behind Iain whilst he was been interviewed live on BBC TV at the Children in Need event at Sirius Academy!!

It must be said that throughout the year our singers have been called upon to provide entertainment at several events at short notice and responded with big smiles, lots of enthusiasm and incredible talent. Good on yer!

So that was 2013 (the photos tell the real story), and as we enter 2014 with new challenges, we need to Keep On Keeping On and continue to provide a service for the brilliant young people we work with regardless of what we come up against.

Happy New Year to you all!!

Iain, Ian, Lisa, Jonny, Liam, Garry, Shauna, Holly, Alan, Steve, Haley, Hannah and Maxine
